A message from the DILG7 Regional Director:

Welcome to DILG-Region 7's Website!

True to the department's vision as the primary catalyst for excellence in local governance, DILG-7 vigorously implements the department's programs, activities, and projects in Central Visayas particularly our banner programs (see Our Services). Thus, it has been recognized as one of the top three best performing regions in the country. We attribute this feat to our Team Approach on Coordinated Tasks or TACT Strategy with 5S, which drives the DILG-7 workforce to act together as a team (more on this strategy at the T.A.C.T Page), and to Top Management for its constant support and encouragement. We have always strived to do our best and we will continue to do so in the years to come.

This website is another brilliant handiwork of the dedicated men and women of DILG-7. It is, therefore, with great pride that we welcome every visitor. We encourage you to look around; explore our site! We have posted a list of all LGUs under each province in Central Visayas, some with direct links to their websites. To state some of the items we included are the list of local officials, different leagues of the Philippines, LGUs' income classifications as well for your easy reference. Do contact us if you have questions or inquiries.

Each page is indeed a labor of love because we want to be able to bring our programs and services closer to our clientele - the local government units, and consequently to all Filipinos.

Sa Diyos, sa tao, serbisyong totoo!

Godspeed.

In light of these beliefs,

I pledge

... to abide by the office policies, rules and regulations promulgated and enforced by the management of DILG-7 from time to time;

and,

I pledge

All these I shall do as a matter of choice, so help me God.

The Birth of DILGRO7 Operations Center

In response to the call of the former SILG Reyes on the establishment of an Operations Center in all regions, the Department of the Interior and Local Government Regional Office VII has established its Regional Operations Center with modern audio-visual equipment and computer facilities. Operating the said center is the Regional Management Information System (MIS) team. The sub-regional offices have also maintained and updated their Management Information System (MIS). The directory of newly elected local officials was updated after the May 2007 elections. Personal data of the newly elected officials were encoded and uploaded in the web-based Elective Local Officials Profile Directory (ELOPD) of the DILG national website. ELOPD is an application module that provides an information directory system for elected local officials designed by the DILG-Central Office.
